Endgrain Tasmania Blackwood Cutting Board in a brick stack (stack bond) pattern with handles & rubber feet.

This Blackwood Endgrain Cutting Board has beautiful contrasting dark brown heartwood and golden sapwood.

Rubber feet are ideal for keeping the board off the bench top and clear of any moisture.

Dimensions are 48.5cm X 28.5cm X 4.5cm and weighs in at just under 3.9kg

As this board is quite dark we don’t recommend that it be coupled with a custom laser engraving.

Why and Endgrain Cutting Board?
End grain chopping boards are considered the pinnacle of the wooden chopping board world!

When cutting on an end grain board, your knife stays sharper because you are slicing in between the wood’s fibres.

Also end grain cutting boards are somewhat “self-repairing” because those wood fibres bounce back into place after cutting.

If that isn’t a good enough reason to own an End Grain Board then the flexibility of design is right up there.

From the size, namely the thickness, to the exposed grain and multi-colour/multi-species patterns that can be created the potential is almost endless.
